What Is Performance Fabric?
Performance fabrics are specialty fabrics designed to withstand everyday wear and tear and are easy to clean. Performance fabrics can hold their ground against energetic pets and kids, frequent guests, and busy schedules, making them the most suitable upholstery material for both indoor and outdoor furniture. They are engineered to be durable and fade-resistant; exposure to chemicals and UV rays won’t be a problem. Common household cleaning products like chlorine and bleach can be used to remove tough stains without causing any damage. Moreover, performance fabrics do not contain toxic Perfluorinated chemicals (PFC), which are harmful to the environment.
