Sometimes rooms just need a face lift, a new perspective, or maybe you have just moved in a new home and need help with furniture placement and accessorizing. Our styling packages could be just what you are looking for.
Here’s what you get: After completing our design survey, we'll conduct an introductory meeting to discuss your goals and gather details, while surveying your home or rooms you want affected. Styled rooms use items you already own, while we add in key pieces that pull your space together. Some rooms may need larger items such as furnishings, drapes, or rugs, while others may just need some art, lighting, &. accessories. The scope of your project will be determined after our scheduled visit.
The next step is a scheduled one hour in store shopping consultation. Once your shopping consolation is completed, we will schedule an install day with you. Preferably, install day is done while you are not home. This is not always possible, and in those cases, we just ask that you allow the designers to work without anyone in the room, and free from distraction. This helps us stay on task and focus on the creative process.
You will have three days to decide what items you would like to keep and also decide on any items you may want to wait on. You will pay retail prices for any items you keep. Styling rooms is what we do, and we love doing it. We are passionate about perfection, and will design your bedroom, living room, home office, or even powder room with beautiful items that match your lifestyle, taste, and personality.

If you are a DIYer, need help picking paint colors, or just need a little direction on furniture placement, this is the package for you. Often our clients are experiencing design challenges, and they really only need a small time with a professional who can offer solutions to the problem and get a new perspective on their room. A 90 minute conceptual design package is perfect for this scenario.
After you complete our design survey, we will schedule a 90 minute consultation in your home. Worth noting - we must be efficient during this consultation. We stick to our 90 minute time limit. We should both be prepared to make the most of this time.
Determine and Communicate your goals.
What is the purpose of the space we'll be discussing? Be prepared to discuss the look and feel you want to achieve. What results would you like to achieve? Support your ideal end result with some example images of the things you'd like and the style you'd like to achieve.
Where are the problems?
Start by making a list - with your most pressing issue at the top - then continue on with other problem areas needing improvement. Put these problems in order of severity/urgency. During our consultation, we'll move through your list from most urgent to least urgent until our time together is up.
What is the scope?
Typically, in the first consultation, prospective clients expect me to come up with ideas above and beyond those that you've come up with. However it is very important for you to let me know how far to take my ideas for your project. How ambitious should I be thinking? Are there limitations with respect to budget, time frame and scope? Or will I be able to consider tearing down walls and starting over with your furniture? It is important to consider these things because it is a waste of our collective time for me to present to you ideas that exceed your timeline and budget.
That said, I'm not asking you to think small. If you have patience, budget and an open mind, we can shoot for the stars!
Not sure what paint color you want?
Please let me know in advance, so I can bring my paint decks.
Keep in mind:
Our consultation is strictly limited to 90 minutes, so don’t get too ambitious. We can accomplish a lot in one 90 minute session, but it is not realistic to design an entire house during one of these sessions. Organization is key.
If after our consultation, we agree that this approach is not the right one, and you'd rather proceed with one of my other design services, you will only be billed $100 for the introductory "let's get acquainted" meeting. We will refine our approach and begin working on your project utilizing the right approach for you.
The best part of this package is the follow up 60 minute shopping consultation at The Linen Duck. This is where we can help you find the perfect items for those trouble spots we discussed at your in home consultation.
This package is $250 and includes the 90 minutes in home consolation and the 60 minute in store consultation. It is only available for a one time purchase.
This option is a free 60 minute consultation with one of our designers in the store. After you complete our design survey, we will schedule a time for your consultation. We encourage you to bring pictures of all angles of your room, color swatches, or fabric swatches you are trying to match, measurements of your space, and photos of your style and design taste. Sometimes this is all you need to spur your creative juices and still be confident in purchasing furniture pieces for your space.
